Narayanbali Pooja and Narayan Nag Bali Pooja is a sacred Hindu ritual performed to provide moksha to departed souls who have had an unnatural death or died early his/her age. This pooja is primarily conducted to help the deceased attain peace and liberation while also removing ancestral curses (pitru dosh) from the family.

How is Narayanbali Pooja Performed?
- Invocation of Lord Vishnu – The pooja begins by worshiping Lord Vishnu, as "Narayan" represents Vishnu himself.
- Use of a symbolic body – A symbolic human body made of wheat flour is created to represent the deceased.
- Offering Pinda – The priest offers pinda (rice balls) and til (sesame seeds) to satisfy the departed soul.
- Tarpan – Water mixed with sesame seeds is offered to ancestors for their peace.
- Recitation of Mantras & Jaap– Special Vedic mantras are chanted to release the spirit from earthly attachments and grant it peace.
- Havan - Finally Havan to say thanks to deity
- Offering to Brahmins – Food, clothes, and donations are given to Brahmins as part of the ritual completion.
